Made in the village of Kldeeti in Imereti, this is a Georgian red wine that's opaque in color. The fruit is pulpy, while the wine is floral with rich tannic structure. Typically, such a structured wine would be high in alcohol but this is a mere 12% alcohol. Fermented and aged in qvevri, or anfora, it is made from the Otskhanuri Sapere grape, which is native to Georgia.
