This Tuscany red was created with the goal of showing a more contemporary style of the Chianti Classico. Each year, the winery sources grapes from different areas in the region, looking to build the complexity that comes from the distinctive characters of the different terroirs. It results in a gorgeous sangiovese wine with dry cherry notes, one that is dusty but light (with no oak). Pair it with hamburgers, bolognese, and caprese. The winemaker likes this wine so much, he puts his initials on it.
