After starting in conventional winemaking, Benjamin Taillandier embraced the natural wine movement after meeting Jean-Baptiste Sénat in the early 2000s. By 2007, he launched his own biodynamic, organic vineyard in Languedoc, now expanded to 16 hectares. Focused on lighter, fresher wines ("vin de soif"), he balances his winemaking with running the local bar, Cantine du Curé, in the summer. This aromatic skin-contact Muscat is bold and expressive, bursting with delicate floral and ginger notes. It has a smooth, tannic structure with a touch of oily, savory richness, balanced by a firm mineral backbone and a long, tart finish.
