This is the one and only amaro wine with Nizza Monferrato cardoon, celebrated for its digestive, purifying, and appetite-stimulating properties. This is a strong and complex Italian aperitif thanks to the blend of the various extracts and the long aging process. Spicy notes of hunchback cardoon, gentian, clary sage, and licorice are prominent, while hints of dried fruit, grapes, and ginger also emerge. It possesses a well-orchestrated flavor that reflects the extraordinary balance between the sweet note, the bitter quality of some of the officinal herbs, and the pleasant tastiness of the wine. The long-lasting aftertaste retains the complexity and spicy notes of the herbs, with a slight hint of tobacco.
