In 1902, Charles Bohu, a confectioner based in Nantes, perfected the recipe of this one-of-a-kind confection: The Rigolette! Their very thin sugar shells have been steamed and filled in with the right balance of real fruit pulp. The traditional flavors are lemon, mandarine, raspberry, blackcurrant, and pineapple. The original packaging is still being used as a reminder of the tradition.
