The Couvent Rouge Winery was established in 2010 as a means of allowing local Lebanese farmers the opportunity to settle down in their native village. A Fairtrade certified producer that relies on bio-certified vineyards, Couvent Rouge is a modern and sophisticated winery. Their pét-nat style sparkling rosé makes for an excellent aperitif, and pairs well with caviar, desserts, foie gras, grilled fish and seafood, strong cheese (brie, camembert, the like), white meat, and chicken.
