With Fell to Earth’s Rosé Vermouth, the rosé wine is a blend of cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon grapes grown at Vox Vineti in Lancaster County, PA, while the spirit is made from ingredients from Green Meadow Farm. This batch involved the introduction of the raw ingredients to the blended wine, tinctures, and sulfur; then it rested for three weeks. After removing the tea bag of dry ingredients, they added neutral spirit and a gentle amount of refined sugar, to help balance out the bitterness, and left it all to rest for two months prior to bottling. The result is a lovely, very herbal, locally made vermouth.
