From winemaking brothers Bob and Jim Varner comes Foxglove wines. For their Zinfandel, the grapes are planted on rolling hills in Hog Canyon in the northern area of Paso Robles. The grapes are destemmed (no whole clusters) at the winery. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks, and the grapes are pressed at dryness. Malolactic fermentation completes the wine after pressing.
