Produced in Valpolicella, Italy, this wine is 50% corvina, 30% corvinane, and 20% rondinella. It possesses a big, deep, and complex nose of preserved brandied cherries, violets, licorice, and tobacco. On the palate, mouth-filling, complex flavors of blackcurrants, cocoa, blackberries, and scorched herbs complement round, ripe tannins and a full-bodied texture.
