In creating their Where Ya PJs At? wine, Maloof wanted all the playfulness and functionality of a rosé without using red fruit. The result is aromas of soft herbs and hard cherry candy from the skin contact of the pinot gris, along with a high-toned acidity due the dry riesling’s barrel fermentation in neutral oak. This “rosé-ish” is best served with white meat, stinky cheeses, white pizza and pasta, fried foods, and buttered popcorn. Open a bottle for your next movie night.
