Monolithos (Monolith) refers to a vineyard in the shadow of the impressive mountainous rock of the castle of the “Poliphant” in glorious Nemea of Peloponnese, Greece. This wine is made from grapes grown in this historical soil, which explains its quality. This fresh approach to agiorgitiko, the most widely cultivated and noble red Greek variety, features a bright red color with purple nuances. The nose is intense with black cherry and raspberry. In the mouth it shows soft tannins, with a medium-full body and a pleasant, fruity aftertaste.
