This Vermentino comes from Tuscany. After the harvest, the grapes are destemmed and softly pressed. The fermentation happens in temperature-controlled steel tanks, where the wine ages for a few months. It is pale yellow, with scents of citrus fruit and white pulp fruits, such as yellow peach. This is a full-structured wine with good balance and freshness, as well as a persistent and fruity finish. Perfect as an aperitif, it also goes well with zucchini flowers fried in batter, classical Adriatic frying, sea bass au gratin, or spaghetti “allo scoglio” with seafood.
