This Italian red comes from the hills of Monferrato, in the province of Alessandria. The five-year-old vines are grown organically on calcareous clay soil. Fermentation and maceration last for 10 days in stainless steel with neutral selected yeasts. This fresh nebbiolo would be nice with a slight chill and served with mushroom pasta.
