Slavcek is the name of an old Slovenia winery whose origins can be traced back to 1769. The small village of Potok is immersed in an expanse of woods, as are the vineyards of the cellar, now managed by Frank and Alenka Vodopivec. The tasting notes for their Cuvée Belo include yellow fruit, wildflowers, salt, and melon. This is a medium-weight, medium-acidity white blend that pairs well with mussels in white wine sauce, shrimp scampi, clams and linguine, and fresh alpine cheese.
