Santa Lucrezia has an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. In addition to the peculiar note of green peduncle, hints of raspberry, strawberry, dried rose, and blueberry stand out. On a second sip, you can distinguish woody tracts of resin and soil, and spicy and balsamic tracts such as black pepper and camphor. The palate is rich and well-balanced, with a slight tendency to semi-sweetness, good freshness, and a dense tannic texture, which is well-integrated into the structure. The long, slightly bitter finish has an intense note of almond. Pair with salame cotto (spicy Italian salami), roasted white meats, agnolotti with meat sauce, or einkorn farro soup.
